Dr. David Ma is a dedicated and friendly clinician committed to providing comprehensive patient centric care. He values the relationships he builds with his patients, and combines traditional concepts with modern day techniques to achieve the best results for his patients. Dr. Ma stays current through continuing education courses, lectures, and peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Ma truly enjoys the field of dentistry and how transforming a smile can have such a positive impact on a patient’s daily life.

Experience and Education:

Dr. Ma is from Toronto and received his Bachelor of Health Sciences degree from McMaster University. He then completed his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at the University of Sydney in Australia. During his time there, he worked in cosmopolitan and rural Australia, provided emergency dental services in hospital settings, and published a peer-reviewed scientific article in the Australian Endodontic Journal. Dr. Ma also had the privilege of volunteering in Southeast Asia, providing dental aid for underserved communities in the Phnom Penh region of Cambodia.

Dr. Ma has been with Humber Valley Dental since 2018, and has integrated seamlessly with the fantastic team that has proudly served Bolton. He is always welcoming of new faces, and is ready to provide patient-centred, holistic dental treatment.

Passions and Interests:

Dr. Ma has a keen interest in Aesthetic and Implant Dentistry, which is reflected in pursuit of continuing education surrounding these topics. He strives to be an all-round dentist and also provides services in restorative dentistry, periodontal surgery, sedation dentistry, and Invisalign. Not to mention, he makes balloon animals for the kids!

When Dr. Ma away from the office, he’s likely enjoying the company of friends and family, catching a Raptors home game, or enthusiastically honing his cooking skills in the kitchen.
