Patricia

Dental assistant-Level 2

Patricia grew up in Cobourg, a small town west of Kingston, Ontario, and attended the University of Waterloo for science. She used this knowledge at George Brown College, where she graduated as a certified Level 2 Dental Assistant in 1997 and was Nationally Certified in 1998.

Patricia is experienced in many aspects of dentistry, from reception to treatment coordinating and all aspects of clinical dentistry, such as orthodontics, general dentistry, and oral surgery. She brings a wide range of work experience, working in a general office, specialized office, and hospital settings.

Her passion is to help patients achieve their best smile, functionally and emotionally, with quality dental care and to build a trustworthy relationship with patients. Through continuing education, she brings the most up-to-date knowledge to best serve our patients. In her spare time, she loves to cook and travel with her husband and two boys. But her true personal zen time is gardening.

Heather

Dental Hygienist

Heather graduated Dental Hygiene from George Brown College in 1995, where she previously studied dental assisting. She enjoys being a lifelong learner, keeping current in her profession with continuing education. Heather grew up in Caledon and returned in 2000 with her husband to raise her family. In her spare time, Heather enjoys spending time with her family and keeping active around Caledon. You can find her in Albion Hill, cross-country skiing in winter and hiking in summer.

Sadhia

Dental Hygienist

Sadhia has studied Business Administration and Human Resources at McMaster University prior to her branching into sciences and a Pharmacy Technician course, which led to working in a pharmacy for a few years. She then decided to pursue a career in dentistry and graduated from Dental Hygiene Academy in 2013 and an orthodontic course at George Brown College in 2020. Sadhia brings over 10 years of exceptional experience in the dental field. When she is not working, she enjoys doing oral health promotions in school, taking continuing education classes, and spending time with her family.

Susan

Office Manager

Susan and her family have been part of the Caledon community for over 30 years. Susan has been working with Dr. Gautham, Dr. Jutras, and the rest of the team for over 10 years. Susan’s main role as Office Manager keeps the office running smoothly and efficiently, and helps keep the team happy. As Patient Care Co-ordinator, Susan’s door is always open to address any questions or concerns you may have about our office or treatment. Financial Co-ordination with and without the insurance companies is her specialty. When not in the office, Susan enjoys spending a lot of time with her growing family.

Luana

Patient Care Coordinator

Luana graduated from the Dental Assistant Program in 1998. She later completed her Preventive Dental Assistant Level II in 2000. She worked in both general dentistry and orthodontic offices. She joined the Humber Valley Dental team in 2018 and is the friendly voice behind your regular cleaning appointments. You can also find Luana helping out in the sterilization area when she is not at the front reception area.

Two active boys keep this mom on her toes. When she is not spending time with her family, she is an active member of the parent council at her children’s school.

Mary

Office Administrator

Mary and her family have been long-time residents of the Bolton community. Mary has been a part of the administration team at Humber Valley Dental team for over 7 years. Her skill is in dealing with insurance companies for claim submission and payments. Mary is also an active volunteer in numerous community events.

Simran

Dental Hygienist

Simran is a dedicated dental hygienist at Humber Valley Dental and loves being part of the preventative care team. She is passionate about helping patients maintain healthy smiles and feel comfortable in the chair. Based in Bolton, Simran enjoys reading in her free time and spending quality time with her nephews and nieces.
