How do clear aligners work?
Both Invisalign and ClearCorrect use a series of clear, removable trays that gradually move your teeth into the desired alignment. Each aligner is designed using advanced digital scanning and 3D modeling for a precise, customized fit.
Invisalign and ClearCorrect can help with:
- Misaligned or crooked teeth
- Unwanted spaces between teeth
- Mild to moderate overbites, underbites, crossbites, and other malocclusions
- Overlapping or crowding
- Teeth with orthodontic relapse
You’ll wear each set of aligners for about two weeks before switching to the next in the series. Over time, your teeth gently shift into their ideal positions, without the discomfort or appearance of metal wires and brackets.
Invisalign vs. ClearCorrect: What’s the difference?
While both systems work similarly, there are subtle differences between these two clear aligner brands:
- Invisalign uses SmartTrack® material for consistent, gentle pressure and predictable results.
- ClearCorrect aligners are slightly thinner and may feel lighter, making them comfortable to wear throughout the day.
Are you unsure which option is best for you? Your Bolton dentist will recommend the method that best suits your needs and provides the desired results. However, rest assured that whatever aligner brand you choose, both options deliver results you’ll love.
